**please note: CLASS POLICY- pre-registration is required. A pre-paid/non-refundable registration fee of $10.00 per class is required upon sign-up. This fee will be applied to the class fee paid the day of class. If for any reason arts & scraps must cancel a workshop this registration fee will be reimbursed. please bring the following items to every class: your favorite adhesive, bone folder, ink pads and applicators. (if you do not own these supplies they are available for purchase. please ask for assistance if you have any questions). other helpful tools include; crop-o-dile, sanders, stapler, atc punch, paper trimmer. we have these supplies to share but if you have your own please bring along.

atc desktop organizer brown bag lunch workshop
1/9- 11:30 to 5:30… atc spinner desktop organizer
you will not want to miss this special workshop! this is an all day, 2 part, brown bag lunch class. we’ll start by building the basics….construction of insert cards and dividers, break for lunch (at 1:30), then finish up with embellishing and decorating (the fun part!! ;) we’ll add tons and tons of cards, pockets, bling, dimension and nifty stuff. this is a grab-a-girlfriend, sit back and relax and craft-the-day-away class…and you’ll leave with an amazing, extremely useful finished project to boot!
Cost for this workshop is $29.95 for the atc spinner and $45.00 for the class. (register for this workshop by 12/30 and receive a 25% discount on the spinner!!)

our spinner series continues, but with a NEW twist. each monthly workshop will feature a themed 97% complete sticker sheet. our first set will feature the “Nest” sticker. the concept for our spinner this year is somewhat introspective, “all about me”ish….create a spinner that tells YOUR story. with the Nest theme this month you will be able to add photos, journaling and keepsakes telling the story of your home, your comforts...where you nest. fun huh!!? upcoming themes include; “wish” (relate all your dreams and wishes), “life” (share your unique life story), “remember”(favorite memories, people, times and the like)…..we will complete 12 themes all for you to fill-in and personalize. this time next year you’ll have a fabulous masterpiece of YOU! (or leave blank and give as a very special gift).

Take your miniature works of art home, hang proudly on your display for the season. We’ll design a new collection for upcoming holidays and seasons as the year progresses. Our theme in this time around will be family= love (for February/Valentines).

This crafty creation “stands” on the counter, stays open to the page you want annnd…no need to tuck this beauty away… it is cute and “leave-out” worthy! cost for this workshop: $30.00.

(2010 can be created and added next year). we will design a repeated format for each year, pull together all kinds of fun facts, newsmakers and trivia to add to your keepsake and craft pages for you to add your own families fun facts, newsmakers, trivia and photos too. this will be a wonderful family treasure, looking back, documenting and memorializing this first decade of the new millennium. part 1=2000 to 2004.

troop notes
"troop notes" starts today, Veteran's Day.
what is troop notes you ask...please read on for all the info about this program that we are so excited to be participating in!!
we are making and collecting cards for our troops overseas. typical card gathering groups make cards to send as greetings to our troops...we are approaching this in a little different way.
we are sending cards for the soldiers to use themselves, to write letters, send notes and greetings home to family and friends. supplies are very limited for our soldiers overseas, we hope to gather 1000s of cards, providing our American heroes some holiday joy and ease in communicating with loved ones back home.
so, please, if you can take a moment today**, drop in to make a card...drop off cards or purchase a card to send to a soldier.

**(please note: we are launching this program on Veteran's Day, however we will gather cards up until Thanksgiving).
